About the Artist

I have spent half my life on the Pacific ocean in Victoria B.C. and the other half living in the Coastal mountains of Whistler. British Columbia.Growing up in Victoria B.C. I spent many days beachcombing and fishing the waters off of Vancouver Island.Now I journey around B.C and fly fish the many freshwater lakes and rivers.I always have had a creative eye and at a early age I began experimenting with watercolours,pen & Ink,chalk and then later dabbed alittle with a Airbrush.I work primarily with Acrylic on canvas now. I use circles and dots to create a reflection of my B.C. adventures. The flow of circles mixed with bright bold colour helps me capture my great fondness for everything outdoors.Living here in the mountains of Whistler for the last 20 years I have developed and discovered new ways to create my unique eye catching paintings.I love fishing and try to include my passion into my art themes.I will be spending some time fly fishing up at Quesnel B.C. on Dragon lake in the spring and the Thompson River this Summer.I am looking forward to adding new paintings to my B.C. Reflections series and my Thompson Rivers series.
